What we love about this watch:

The Origins of the BAAZ line of watches is obscure to say the very least, the information I was able to gather was drawn from an archived forum post and I present it below:

BAAZ was a brand registered in NZ by Oliver Goldsmiths ltd, Wellington, and assembled here from parts supplied by Sully and Watex (owners of Sully). This was from late 1960s – mid 1980s (est). I presume Oliver Goldsmith was the nz distributors. Horst used to assemble them under contract while watching TV in the evening.’

A New Zealand assembled vintage watch with a Swiss movement makes for interesting provenance. This watch is in great condition and a worthy addition to any watch collection.
